Hi. I have an Imate JAMin running WM5. I recieve a lot of appointment requests via 2 POP/IMAP accounts that I download onto my JAMin. PROBLEM - there seems to be no way to accept (or reject) these requests and move the appointment into Calendar.

1. Am I missing something simple?
2. If not, and WM5 doesn't support this - is there any third party app that does?
3. Any other suggestions?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hmmm. Good question. I don't see this problem, but I have my devices connected to an Exchange Server. The messages are processed before they arrive on the device. I'd have to test this. In the meantime I will ask around.

Ok, here is the result... It works. A friend is using POP access to his account and he was able to Accept and Decline meeting requests, plus it will automatically move to the calendar - exactly like the option present for Exchange ActiveSync.

When reading the message the menu (right soft key)will show nerw options: Accept, Decline, Tentative and act on the message accordingly to your selection.

Mind you, some companies filter meeting requests! I did a bit of work with a company and I had to manually enter all meetings into my Outlook, because when their Exchange Server sent out meeting requests to external servers it would filter the attached information, so I would only receive e-mails with the description but not the bits that allow other servers/clients to actually use the message in an automatic way.

Hi Maurico. I don't seem to get those options - so perhaps there is some filtering going on (although i can accept/reject the same messages in outlook on my PC?) Or maybe i have a different OS build?

I'll have a play around a bit more and see where i get to. Thanks heaps for your help.
