my new XDA Mini S when used with Activesync 4.2 does not sync all contacts and tasks only 3 out of 11 tasks come over and only 90 of 300 contacts.

I have tried altering some records but to no avail.

Also there does not seem to be an option to sync in only one directio ie desktop to phone.

Any help please?

Check that those tasks and contacts are all in the default folder. ActiveSync will not synchronise data in folders other than the default.
