My m8 has bought an IPAQ 1940 and now wants to be able to connect to the internet with it. I've tried to talk him out of it but without any luck (he is off to the states with work for about a month and wants to pick up his e-mails with it).

Question is - what is the best way (hardware) to connect to the internet with this thing? Can you get a modem card, or should he go out and buy a bluetooth modem. Does anyone have any experience with either route??

Oh BTW, he doesn't have a mobile

thanks 4 your help

If he doesn't have a mobile, a Bluetooth modem is a good idea. We have a review of the Zoom Technologies Bluetooth Modem on-line.

Ooops. The link is updated now. It's here on Geekzone, and it's in our review page. Here it's in full glory: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=2063.
