Zepanda66:

Its stupid how many stores cant seem to achieve a simple thing like getting a new console out to customers on launch day.

If you think thatโ€™s simple then I hope you never come looking for a job in Supply Chain.

Mate collected Series S - smooth transition from collection at the Warehouse, almost gave mate a Series X because names on order was similar to another waiting to be collected. The person behind the collection counter saying a lot of these are being collected today already. Overall mate says no issues with The Warehouse comms and collection process.

I am pleased for you, the original scenario was pretty grim. Bit of a shame about taking off work. I recommend always taking the day after off if you can, as well... couriers :)

MA have failed to deliver my Series X today, thankfully I have a backup at The Warehouse ready for pickup.

If anyone in Chch area is after one then let me know as happy to sell the MA one for what I paid.

Eww, that doesn't bode well, hopefully, my PS5 is going to ship correctly.

I am *much* more worried about that than my Xbox Series X.

My Series X arrived at 8am from MightyApe, already playing series X enhanced games. It's heavy, but a lot smaller than I expected.

Guessing you are in Auckland? Ours got dispatched on "Sunday". Last scan was yesterday at Rosedale (Albany). So who knows where its at.

That's even worse than mine, at least my one got as far as Chch airport but it's been stuck there since.

Yep I'm in Auckland, the first scan was Sunday afternoon. Then it was next scanned this morning around 12:15am at the depot.

Damn you and your ability to cope with simple tasks such as negotiating the payment system ๐Ÿ˜›

What's gonna be your first game to stretch its legs? At this rate, mine will be Cyberpunk 2077 by the time the second shipment arrives

That payment system was hideous ๐Ÿ˜‚ It was what forced me to go and order from PBTech... I knew I should have gone for Mightyape when I had the chance...

yeah it was really painful, page wouldn’t accept my address, likely overloaded or maybe just broken, in the end I got it to accept an address with the wrong suburb and post code lol. As I was picking up from store so it didn’t matter.

I can admit where I was wrong... After slamming my head against a brick wall, I too have now picked mine up from The Warehouse without issue as well. But there communication leading up to it was still pretty bad. Multiple emails sent, and only one reply last week saying that release on the day was nearly impossible to meet, and even a exact date couldn't possibly be known. It left me feeling a bit deflated about pre ordering through them for day one release. Guess it depends on who you get in the customer service team...
