Hi community, I am building a rig for Sketchup 3D editing and playing the following games:

  1. Day of Defeat
  2. Frozen Throne Dota
I am looking for a good value CPU/Mobo combo to go with the following:

  • G.SKILL Ripjaws X 8GB Single DDR3 1600MHz (PC3 12800) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
  • Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD7850 Overclocked 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E3.0
  • Microsoft windows 7 home prem 64bit OEM
  • Crucial V4 SSD 128GB
  • Thermaltake Xaser V Case
  • Corsair CX430M 430W PSU
  • CD/DVDRW

Yes, the Case (already with optical drives) is quite old but I'd rather use it then purchase a newer one. I will probably ask the store to put the parts together just to be on the safe side.

Looking forward to the suggestions/prices...much appreciated guys.

Gerald

Asus M5A97 R2.0 & FX-6300 might be worth looking at, should overclock well. Good bang for buck apparently.
