I made a video of my home made racing chair with a demo ride.  See it here:

See the rest of the set up in the Home Theater thread.

FWIW, I shot the video with this $90US (at COSTCO) camcorder.  It's really cool, for the money.

It looks good... Nice views with that setup. I will post in my blog.

Thanks for the blogging the video.

The game in my video was PGR3 for the Xbox 360.  It is somewhat of an arcade game for most of the tracks.  The new simulator racing games that are coming out for the Xbox360 will be GTR and Forza Motorsports2.   I have Forza Motorsports for the Xbox and it is really a great simulator racing game.

Here’s a 2 page article on the new racing games that will be out in the first half of 2007.

I’ve played PC racing games for many years and my first online race was in 1995, but I’ve given up on my PC for most of my gaming and reluctantly surrendered to the game consols.  Here’s an interesting video on Forza Motorsports.

Here's a video inside a real McClaren F1 at Nurburgring.
The first 1 minute 15 seconds is on the same part of the track in my video  (but not the straight away part).
The video jumps around the track after that.
