If you want a physical retail product then you may still find it bundled in something like the original Half Life Platinum Edition, I haven't seen it for a while but then I'm not looking for it... Check out the budget sections at your local stores I guess. CS was available on its own but it will probably be harder to find in this format. Alternatively, if you're signed up with Steam (www.steampowered.com) then I believe it's US$10 to download. I'm not sure if you need HL1 first?

You can get CS 1.6 as a stand alone from steam. Steam has its moments...

If you are looking for a steam free version - good luck as its not really supported anymore.

Yeah download steam first then go to there store to buy and and register it to your account.
