Hi there

As I was a little late in the ordering the PS4 I am looking for one I can get on release date. Everyone I've contacted is out of release date PS4's and they have no idea when they will get any more (maybe early 2014)

I will be expecting an unopened PS4 with receipt of purchase from wherever it comes from.

So if anyone has access to a release date (29/11/2013) PS4 they ordered and no long want/need please let me know.

I can use some type of escrow service (trusted user or something else or will give cash when I get it in my hands) - I am in Auckland so can come and pick it up.

I don't mind paying a little more than RRP (no price gouging)

warehouse has a few. Order online or go down to the local warehouse. I called them up and they said they didnt have any and then i went there and there were like 7 preorder cards left.

Good Luck! :)

So you get a $50 Giftcard and then you go to store on release date and use it to pay for the PS4..(which may all be sold?)

I'm a little confused..

As I understand it, you will get a special voucher code that lets you order the console and covers the first $50. If in doubt drop them a message/email/call :)

OK.. got the word from thewarehouse...

Online

"
You get a $50 Deposit voucher,
we will send you an email 1-2 weeks before release with any offers.
you will need to place your order at least 3-4 days before release date,
we will then despatch to get to you for release day?"

and

"We have precautions in place to make sure that we do not oversell our Day 1 allocation. The last thing we want is to have unhappy customers "

Check: https://www.facebook.com/TheWarehouseNZGaming

So if they are selling online on www.thewarehouse.co.nz then they still have stock for pre-order on release day (which you will get on release day)

I haven't rung them up, but Dick Smith is saying Pre-Order now, releases on 29th November.

So they aren't saying all their stock is allocated.

Might give them a ring tomorrow or sometime in the week and see what they say, unless somebody else wants to :)

Just preordered from dick smith yesterday. He seemed confident they had plenty of I allocated stock and I could definitelyick one up on launch day.

Not sure whether they allocate by store or just centralise it, so worth checking your local one first.

I am tossing and turning about wether or not to get a PS4. I know that if I am going to get one I will have to move pretty swiftly to get one of the last remaining Pre Order spots around the country. I have never Pre ordered something in my life, have a few questions.

Most places are saying to put down a $50 deposit, that's cool.

- What happens if I change my mind, do I get the $50 back? Its not a huge amount of money, but im not rich enough to be giving $50 away.

- If I did change my mind, how much notice do you have to give?

- When would the rest of the cash have to be paid? Upon picking up the console or 2/3 days before hand?

- Does the $50 pre order deposit count as $50 off the console? So would end up Paying $600 when paying the rest?

- Im guessing the store you pre order from will ring you 1 week/a few days before it launch's to see if you are still committed to buying one?

Right now im heading towards getting one, having not got the two previous versions I think its time. Hope its just not hype because im really excited about this, think about the PS4 everyday haha.

Thanks guys!!

at the warehouse the $50 is a deposit --you pay the remaining balance when you pick it up instore. It just stops timewasters from preordering who have no intent on collecting.

I spoke to DSE too - and they said they couldn't guarantee I would get a machine if I preordered from them  - the warehouse did guarantee so I ordered from them.

You'll need to call/visit the store as all of them will have different policies. The only answer I can give is that your deposit will come off the price you pay.
