So with the release of the Dog fighter Module yesterday all RSI fans jumped out of there skins for a chance to download it and play first...

Do we have any players/enthusiasts here? If so what package did you get and how long did it take you to download the Module?

I have the basic $45.00 bundle but got it when it was first being crowdfunded, took me around 12 hours to download the 10gb module, some guys downloaded it in 2 hours while others are still downloading it from last night

Loving it so far, can't wait for the whole game to be released :D

I'm going to noob myself past judgement

I have the $45 package also. I'll wait for the whole game before I dabble in the modules though. Is there any hints at a possible launch date?

Nah, for Starcitizen itself probably 2015-2016

Squadron 42 however early 2015

Oh I have spent way to much on this game :)

I've got a Freelancer package with DUR upgrade, F7C-M Super Hornet with F7A Military Hornet Upgrade, Lightspeed - LTI package, Banu Merchantman - LTI and a RSI Aurora LN, plus I also sub.

I got the most basic package - $30US including the mighty Aurora MR! I don't intend putting any more real money into it and I am not sure if the finished game is going to be my cup of tea, so $30 seemed a reasonable amount to risk waving goodbye to.

Would love to get an Oculus Rift to play it with, but that is likely going to be beyond my slender financial resources.

I have never really wanted to play any online games before, but I am really hoping for more of a Freelancer experience than Star Lancer and may just skip Squadron 42 if it looks too hard for my poor skills, or has the types of missions I hate; Tightly timed missions, or trying to safely escort suicidal idiots. I prefer freelance style trading over fighting missions, but love the idea of travelling through space discovering things. And making star-money to buy exciting new stuff with! The graphics look impressive and immersive.

As I don't enjoy dogfighting and the Aurora is just going to be cannon fodder if I try, I won't be downloading anything until the Beta and shall just quietly putt around on my own exploring and doing odd jobs to build up funds for a more exciting and capable ship. Then rinse and repeat until I have the Death Star, lol!

I am playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 just now; if the game can give me that sort of experience in an interesting space setting, I will be happy.
