NewNZISP: at this stage just PC, Dice are difficult :)
NewNZISP: I should make this very clear, we are working with Dice, this does not mean that it's a done deal, many have tried and failed, but i and some of the other team a passionate about this game haha. so fingers crossed.
So far what they are after is a reliable network/data centre which we believe we have/building...it's convincing them :)
NonprayingMantis: It's great you are looking at doing this, but I fear it isn't going to win you too many subscribers
1) if you make it better for your own customers, then nobody who isn't your customer will play on it, so it will always be empty (since you are a startup, you don't already have 500k customers like Telecom)
2) If you make it just as good for everybody, then people will play on it, but nobody will sign up to 'NewNZISP' because there is no benefit.
IMHO you'd be better off just spending the money on marketing/handovers/international capacity/customer service.

It will be available for all :) whats the point if it's not. It's hardly a network congestion application as it will be separate from broadband capacity :)

great!
Then I'm curious, why do it? Nobody is going to be switching ISPs to you because you have a BF4 server that provides no benefit, right?
HTPC / Home automation (home assistant) enthusiast.

Back in the day TCL had the upperhand with the ON3 network and BF servers plus others with the unmetered data. I suppose it could have drawn a few more people but it wasnt a factor that made me go "Boom" I want the big back yard and this internet offer with TCL.
But not to sink a ship before it sails.
I think its a good idea. Will benefit myself greatly and many others.
If BigPipeNZ wants to comment on how successful their PS4 Comp was + 1 month free it might be a better investment to look at a comp like theirs without being a copy cat.
I could imagine their stats went like this.
NewNZISP:
One thing i need to mention, yup we will be small provider but not just offering broadband, web hosting and VPS are also will be available
