JB has pretty good PS4 game deal right now, just wondering if i get NZ PS4 games, and plan to get US PS+, will i still be able to get DLC? i know i can create a NZ PSN account, but without NZ PS+, can i still get DLC? and play online on my US PS+ account? the whole PSN, PS+ thing is really confusing for me :/
Not specifically answering your question but here is what I have found with NZ vs US games and DLC.
I work for a US company that sends me PS4 games and My PSN (and PS+) are NZ based.
Games are not region locked but DLC is.
Ie: US copy of Destiny works well but the DLC (which was purchased through my NZ PSN account) will not work so I had to get an NZ copy of the game to be able to use it. I assume if I have a US PSN account I would not have had that issue.
For a couple of games that I have US and NZ copies of, saves are specific to each version of the game and are not transferable from US to NZ copies of the game.
Quite annoying really but as I only get DLC on very rare occasions getting US versions is not normally an issue.
You will need to purchase the dlc through a nz psn, this won't need ps+ but as long as the PS4 is set as the accounts primary ps4 you will be able to use other accounts to play it. Same goes for the reverse of you have a US game you'll need the U.S. Dlc and as long as the ps4 is the us accounts primary ps4 you will be able to play with other accounts on the ps4. A ps4 can have multiple accounts set as primary at a single time.

Also games like GTA V, they seems to have new contents out for online regularly, will I still be able to get those updates from US ps+?
Based on my experience I'd have to say that if you have an NZ disc, whether you get the DLC via PS+ or just purchasing the DLC, it would have to be NZ DLC not US DLC otherwise it won't work with the NZ region'd game.

Na that bonus stuff on nba will be tied to your nz psn. For GTA the updates most of the updates are updates to te whole game and the only dlc is for in game money. Since they are game updates they apply to all users. The only exception to the bonus stuff being tied to the purchasing account was with GTA V where I preordered with my us psn, and the bonus of $500000 offline ingame also came up on my offline game on my nz psn, the bonus money for gta online still was only for the us psn though.

Looks like I should get NBA from NZ and use the free ps+ trial to get that bonus DLC, since that deal at JB HIFI is even better than amazon or digital download, and import GTA V from US later on when its on sale.
