Hi there.

Here are my rig details:

Intel i7-4790 3.6GhZ
16GB RAM
Nividia Geforce 780 Ti

I currently run at the highest resolution available both for Windows and in games as such Battlefield 4, Shadow of Mordor, COD Advanced Warfare which is 1920x1080.

I'm using a Samsung Series 5 5200, LED HD 58inch TV. with a $60 HDMI cable.

According to the website, it can reach a digital resolution of 4096x2160. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-780-ti/specifications

How do I get high resolutions for gaming since it is able to do so?

Many thanks!

Chris

You will need a display that supports higher than 1920x1080.

You would need a monitor capable of displaying the higher resolution.
1440p (2560x1440) monitors are fairly common, and 4k (3840 x 2160) monitors are available (but relatively expensive)

At that point though you would have to turn a lot of quality settings down to get any close to a playable framerate in those games at much more than 1440p.

If you want to game in respectable quality at 4k you are looking at a 2-3way SLI/crossfire setup of high end cards.

Depending on how much you like your quality turned up and high FPS, you may well be dissatisfied with a 780 TI's performance at 1440p, let alone at 4k
