Has anyone tried FlightGear flight sim? want to have some honest feedback on it before I waste my time downloading it...

I think the FGFS is somewhat lacking it just doesn't feel complete or atleast as complete as M$ FS2004 and FSX, I suppose it's good being able to download additional planes & scenery but the M$ Flight Sim has a far wider range of addons via downloading, Also another thing i noticed with FGFS is everywhere seems to look the same, eg. Point A's terrain looks the same as Point B's except they use a different shade of color. The airplanes look quite nice on full graphics but still lack compared to FSX, All in all i wouldn't really bother wasting my money ordering a CD\DVD of this game. Better off with the M$ flight sims
