Hi Team. My son's Xbox One S is running extremely slow, sometimes unusable. It is hard-wired via Ethernet. Has only a couple of games loaded, HDD 99% free.

We have tried everything that a Google search has told us to try, to no avail.

Any ideas from you smart guys as to what may be the issue, is very much appreciated.

TIA.

How old is it and how is the air flow around it? Has it been opened for cleaning?

They're basically appliances now.  So long as they're getting air and not clogging up, you may have a fault.  Short of restoring back to factory image to test if it's software you might want to get it looked at.
