I have a mid tower pc with p4 3 ghz processor, 1 gig ram, 400 watt power supply. I have an ATI Radeon x800 xt graphics card which i have just installed. The problem is that the fan on the card is not working. I have tried both spare power leads from the p/s but no go. Is there anything I am missing? Is the power supply high enough wattage?

Cheers

I assumed it would run all the time. I didn't give it a chance to over heat and shut down straight away.. Do they not always run the fan?

As far as I am aware, The Fan on the GPU should be running 24/7?

Use GPU-Z to check the temperature of the card
