Upgraded from PS2 to PS3 so now wanting to sell PS2, problem is it switches off randomly sometimes.

Im wondering if its the cords or the yellow power pin thing. Cords look fine however there is a bit of a bend where some of the black cord is torn and no signs of burns on the power connector thingy.

Im wanting to sell on Trade Me, was just wondering what I could start my reserve at, and also do I list with controller and memory card or sell them separately.

TIA.

Could be overheating as well - if you leave it idle doing nothing, does it turn off at random ? Or is it just when playing games/movies ?

Sometimes it will just switch off when turned on, then sometimes it will play for 20 mins as long as not bumped or moved. Partner puts something between the Av and Power cord sometimes and has no probs. But then sometimes will jsut switch off.

Just wanna get rid of it and try make some money for a concert nxt year. Would maximise my profit if there is an easy fix to the probs though.
