This is my first time and i think iv posted this one before but cant seem to find mine so im
re posting, srry.

Anyway iv got a HP Pavilion p6320a and need to buy new graphics and cpu for the game.
iv got a intel pentium e5500 and currently no new graphics card attatched.
can u suggest me a good graphics card and a cpu that can run blackops smoothly.

Do u think i should get a new cpu or just keep the old one and just buy a good graphics card.
it would be good if the requirements are over the minimum but below the maximum so about in
between. thanks

which is good gaphics and cpu for blackops??

A Intel Core i7 with a nVida GTX 580

Will they both work in your computer? No.

Pentium's are pretty dated these days so maybe you should look at upgrading your entire computer.

If that's not a option, I assume (Without googling) your cpu is socket 775, so you should be able pick up a Core2Quad / Core2Duo fairly cheaply and use that.

Graphics cards I would recommend something like a GTX 260, Just make sure your PSU has the power to run it first.

I3/5/7 series are different socket types from your current setup.
So upgrading your current system is limited...

For COD:BO, you require a fairly hefty system to get the best from it.

If you cant afford a new motherboard/cpu/ram/video, then maybe look at an XBox or PS3 and get COD on that.

Yeah as all the others have said, your PC is severely limited, but you could do the following:

- Upgrade the ram using 2 sticks of DDR2 2GB = 4GB ram($100)
- Upgrade the video card to a 6850(no higher, it's a nice low wattage PSU)($310+)
- Upgrade the PSU to a 400W SFX or ATX depending on the setup, measure the PSU to see what size it is, if it's standard ATX go for a 500-600W if it's smaller then it's usually an SFX, you'll have to fork out for a 400W one($150)

so round $560 and you'll be able to bump up most settings to max

The other option is to sell your PC(about 300-400 on TM, Pricespy price for your PC is $630 new) and build a PC for about 1k which would easily cover 6850, H55 Mobo, case+PSU, 6850/70 and a HDD

If it is gonna cost that much to upgrade it, the best thing would be to sell it and custom build your machine.  It will work out much cheaper.

I get my computers custom built from PB Technologies.   Much cheaper than buying a branded machine, ie HP, Acer etc. And you get a much better spec with more upgrade options.

My hubby got a AMD quad core for $1200 at the start of the year and they have come down in price.  His was the PB Tech brand though, which is bascially custom built.  I built mine 3 years ago and she is still going strong.

Bare in mind though, that custom building a PC is not for the novice computer user.  You have to kinda know what you ar doing.
