For PC games just buying from Steam specials are usually better value than renting games

This weeks specials:
http://store.steampowered.com/sale/ubisoft_week

I've got a huge back log of games I've picked in specials to play now.

I agree 100%  Steam games besides COD are a steal, I've purchased several games that aren't very old for $7.50US, even full priced games aren't bad, Got Battlefield Bad Company 2 full price and that cost me $26NZD which is pretty freakin sweet considering I saw it in The Warehouse for 60$

wow i had no idea they got that cheap on steam. I have been trying to decide wiether to get Portal 2 on PC ( well mac) via steam or get it on xbox.

ok i will do steam for PC games, but what about Gamehog for xbox games.

there is a thread on here from 09/10 saying that they where not that great and not worth it but just wondering if that has changed in time or is that still the case.

I used Gamehog for a short time a year or so ago and had no problems with them.
