I'm using a Compaq iPAQ 3850, with a TDK Systems bluePAQ, with a USB Dongle on my PC, with the Widcomm software installed (version 1.3.2.7)
What I am trying to do, is get the internet to work on my iPAQ using the LAN connection service offered by the bluetooth dongle.
So far I have had NO luck what so ever, and I was wondering if anyone had similar probs/or ideas?
The PC with the dongle, (IP = 192.168.0.42) is connected to the Internet through a Zoom ADSL Router (IP= 192.168.0.1) and I am trying to get the iPAQ to connect the same way...
I have tried numerous set ups, including changing the iPAQ to a different sub-net etc, and routing using the "route" command under XP, but with no effect.
The iPAQ will simply connect, but not find anything to view. It is pingable however.
Also, when I change the Gateway of the Bluetooth Lan Server connection to the IP of the Router (192.168.0.1) it seems to screw my Windows PC up, in that it cant view any HTTP server pages, like yahoo, and cant ping any external addresses, but can still stay on MSN (which is a mystery why to me!)
If anyone has ANY ideas, feel free to chuck them my way as I feel just about ready to chuck the thing out of the window!
