I haven't used Socket but I've heard good references.

I bought a Sandisk and returned it a week later. I don't recommend that brand.

Thnaks. I will assume there is only one Socket SD card and the software it comes with is suitable for an ipaq 1940 - these days one has to be so pedantic!
