I've seen a D-Link 604T that was temperature sensitive as it was dying. It may be that your D-Link becomes less stable as the temperature rises through the day?

I dont have a monitored alarm, and only have one phone in the house. We dont use the phone very heavily at all during 5 to 8 which is when it always goes out.

This is what it looks like. we have 2 phone points 2 metres apart. one has the filter then a cable going to the modem/router then the other phone point has a filter then the cable going to the phone.

thanks

Hi, so as I originally thought both phones have filters between them and the socket.

I would definitely look at changing the modem, 5-8pm could tie up with lower power supply volts (oven on) just enough to drop the modem off. not the first time I have seen this issue, the Dlinks use transformer plug packs that are non regulated, the internal regulators in the modem could be under provisioned.

I definetely see what your saying now becuase thats when we watch t.v. have the oven on and alot of the lights.

I am going to buy a new modem and will post a comment as to wether these problems persist.

Thanks.
