OK, I've taken the totally opposite approach and it seems to have worked. Added a matching VLAN ID to both ERL ETH2 and NFV4 WAN port and it works fine without a switch in between.
This seems counter-intuitive to me but appears to work. Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

Bet regardless of the settings, it was actually vlan tagging :)
Most "dumb" switches normally leave tags there and just route them everywhere so somewhat of a fuke the switch was not doing that!
Glad to hear you have got to a conclusion, makes me wonder if there is something hinky in orcons firmware, which would not surprise me if they are trying to set priority tags.
