Hi All

Has anyone been able to connect their fritz box ( 7490 )  to a DDWRT WIFI router?
I have followed this tutorial http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wireless_Bridge , it says Successful Connection in DDWRT but then no internet access and cannot see the device listed on the fritzbox ?

What am i missing?

I would use a Cat cable but just moved in and the office is on the second floor...so not that easy ( just yet at least )

timmmay: Is the slave in the DCHP range of the master? The guide says to use 192.168.1.2, which isn't important but shows you have deviated from the guide. There are two guides on that page, have you tried both?

My Stupidty, the top of that webpage says this :

"This is an older page on how to set up a client bridge. It is being kept as there might be info that some find useful, but ***THESE INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD NOT BE USED*** Use the more complete and up to date guide to do the same thing that can be found here:http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Client_Bridged

I guess the keywords are in big bold letters lol.

Now that looks more legit! Gunna try that! Let u know how that works out.
