Morning,

Any recommendations for a good router/wireless box for a Vodafone DSL connection? The supplied one is pretty crap (keeps needing to be power cycled every couple of days).

It's for a small office - 3-6 people, not intensive bandwidth users. Would like the ability to do a basic VPN in  the future perhaps and gigabit LAN ports would be nice.

I was thinking maybe a Cisco srp527w or Draytek?

Cheers

My wireless router has been online for over 6 months never needs to be power cycled

Have you checked the latest software version is installed on the modem?

Hi,

What about looking into the new ADSL / UFB router Vodafone has just released?

I contacted Vodafone support a few months ago telling them that because I live in a very crouded apartment complex and that the WiFi signal drops out all the time) that they were going to contact me about giving me one of these new "Station" modems but never got back to me.

We're currently on our second unit - running latest firmware too, also we're in a busy wifi area and get a lot of client disconnects and dropouts.

The station looks nice, but we're after something a bit more business focused.

+1 for the SRP527 - IME very stable (uptime only affected by power cuts and the like), and a reasonable built in VPN server.

Draytek Vigor2710ne is what I have been using for a while, they are a very stable little box.
