So I recently got a smart tv any was wanting to connect via VPN to video sources in the US, i.e netflix, I have a TP-link 941ND router which is running dd-wrt v24 presp2? My router doesnt allow me to run openVPN, so my only option is using the pptp client, I have a screenshot of what I have setup but firstly I cant seem to get it to connect and secondly once it is connected will it route all my traffic through the vpn or is there a way to only route the tv traffic via the VPN?

If you have DD-WRT get Astrill VPN (you can install the VPN module onto the router)

The other option is to use unblock-us to access the content.

Thanks for the advice but i currently have a vpn with witopia for the next 6monts already paid for so would like to make the most out of it, but astrill is certainly something i will consider when my subscription comes up for renewal.

I checked with witopia before. They would not offer VPN through router like Astrill. However, they do sell cloakbox as an alternative
