Hey,
I just bought a new laptop from Dell and it is bluetooth compatible.  I'm trying to get my bluetooth headset to work with it now and I'm running into some problems.  I've paired the headset with no problems.  It says I'm connected, but when I try and do things like voice chat through AIM it comes through my speakers.  I'm running Vista.  Anyone have any suggestions for me?

You need to connect the devices before you start the chat or the program that uses the audio otherwise the drivers won't change the output.

Also, to connect, first make sure the devices are paired, then initiate the connection from your PC. The Incoming Call announcement should beep on your headset, and then you press the Answer button to complete the connection.

After this check that the Sound Default Device has changed to Bluetooth. You find this in the Sounds applet in the Control Panel.
