When I plug my Trust BT dongle in my laptop (W2000, connected to the company network with internet and intranet) I'm not able to access the internet anymore.
All ActiveSync functions work perfect with my ipaq 2210, accept connecting to the internet. My LAN connection is shared as stated in the guides. I read all the guides provided on this site but found no solution.
I think it's strange that my laptop stops accessing the internet when I start an Internet Explorer session. I tried Pinging several sites but no reply. It's totally blocked. At this moment there is not even an connection through BT with a mobile device (my ipaq 2210) set up.

At home I have an XP-pro machine in a local network with a router connection to internet. Th BT dongle works fine there, including internet connection through ActiveSync.

What is causing my problem?

Are you connected to the internet on a DSL line? Perhaps the router or the modem is using the 192.168.0.1 address on your network?

Yes, that's the way I'm connected. I tried to ping to the IP-adres but got no respons so I thought it is not used.
I still don't understand why just plugging in the dongle disables my internet connection on my laptop. The LAN connection is not affected by plugging in the dongle.
