I'm after someone I can pay to help sort out my WiFi and LAN 'issues'

I have an HG569 homehub with DNS pointing to unblock us

the wifi has got crappy and I also want to get a second router working to extend the wifi to the back of the house- I have a second one which was successful for a while.

does anyone have any recommendations on who might be able to come and help sort it out- for payment obviously.

professionals like 'Geeks on Wheels' fine of course, just wondering if someone has sorted these sorts of setups before.

I have ethernet CAT6 to relevant spots and a small patch panel by the router, so no physical wiring required just settings, updates etc

Which version of the HG659 do you have? Vodafone or spark? does it have the latest firmware?

@coffeebaron should be able to help

but pretty much everything you are asking you should be able to yourself and are there are lots of tutorials on here with what you need to do, especially since there is no wiring involved.

I've certainly found the forum answers all my questions and have had success in the past with settings tinkering. Given the level of angst in the family when I do so- I reckon getting a professional in is probably worth it!

I should try the firmware upgrade though i guess- just a matter of remembering the different changes I made to keep unblockus going
