Which cat6 cable to buy?

this one from jaycar for ~$50

the only difference I can see is one is cat6a and the other is cat6.

Can anyone advise what the difference is?
It's just for use at home, running the cable from my router to my PC.

Buy Cat6. Avoid Cat6a. Don't need Cat6a or it's hassles of terminations

Do whatever you want to do man.

Dont get trademe cables that are too cheap to be possible. They will be crap. They will not meet cat-anything specs.

The insulation will be cheap nasty plastic that goes hard as it offgasses - which stinks - and then crack.

Dynamix ones are good, about as cheap as they come for actual ones and PB tech has them all over the country.

Just whatever the person putting it on the site felt like typing.

The only one to avoid is a crossover one. And dont get anything shielded - that will be STP and will have no benifit for you

Never used Belkin cables or seen them used.

Dynamix used by many as advised above.

Strike one for brand name recognition.

@pipe60, can you elaborate, I thought cat6A was basically just better performance over longer distance. I did not think there was much of a difference with the actual install, can you elaborate on that part please?

Yes its just as easy to use as Cat 6 i was referring to billgates talking about the hassles of terminations.
