Hi,
I’m new to this whole WiFi thing. I have a H4150 and would like to start using the WiFi feature. What I am trying to do is be able to sit in Starbucks, a hotel or any other Hotspot and surf with my iPAQ. Are there very detailed instruction as to how to set this up on my H4150. I’m to the understanding I need something from my cable provider (ISP).

Thanks

Most of these so called "hotspots" are run by companies like T-Mobile or Boingo Wireless in the US.

When using the h4150 you just need to turn the Wireless LAN on, and it'll tell you of any networks close by. When asked what network to use just click "Connect to Internet" and it'll connect to this network. If using a hotspot like T-Mobile or Boingo you'll be required to sign-up first, and create a user and password. You'll also have to buy their services (by minute or traffic). You then use Pocket Internet Explorer to login, and from this point you can send/receive e-mails, browser the Internet, etc.

Check the T-Mobile pages and Boingo Wireless. Some networks allow you to sign-up on the spot, via Pocket Internet Explorer.
