I'm going even balder trying to get my dialup to work from my Dell 8600 using Bluetooth or usb port to work with my SE T610. I know my mobile can dial up my ISP ok. Also the troubleshooter in XP shows the phone is there as a modem and reports ok. But using dial up nalways reports phone not switched on or wrongly configured. I can pair ok for Bluetooth without ny problem. I wondered whether I have a port mismatch is the port number critical?

Are you using the dial-up icon present in My Bluetooth Places? When using the Bluetooth phone don't worry about installing and configuring the modem. Have a look on this guide.
