I have used this in the past and has worked perfectly but now my FritzBox 7490 won't save DynDNS information. After entering correct account information and clicking submit, information stays there but if I navigate to some other screen and come back to DynDNS page it's blank. I have tried other providers as well with no luck. Anyone else had similar experience or can advise what is going on here?  I reset my router after the recent OS upgrade as I wanted to clear everything and now this won't work.

It did work fine until I reset it.
If I restore to an older backup then I can see the dynu information saved in there and it works but if I attempt to change to a different provider or turn it off, keeps reverting back to dynu settings.

@kimxk How did you get duckdns to work. My settings are saved now, IP also updating as per duckdns site but I can't access the router interface. What did you put in username field?

@quebec - Just my short duckdns username, like "bob1234". (No, that's not it. :-) )

I have the same problem. My Fritz!Box not saving the DynDNS settings, despite it used to work before. I'm on the latest Fritz!OS 7.01 as of today. So it is either bug in the new Fritz!OS or the DynDNS not supposed to work with fibre - I got recently installed.

I couldn't find any relevant information on this issue I wonder if somebody could confirm or at least point in the right direction.

Cheers.

I had the same issue. Downgrade and save it then upgrade. I ever tried on the new OS and don’t have the Fritzbox anymore but I’m sure friend who has it recently reset his router and was able to add DynDNS info. I can check with him again on Monday.

Many thanks. At the end I got a static IP, so the issue is not pressing now, but I would still love to know the solution.
