Hi all

This is really driving me mad ! I'm trying to use a sony ericsson hbh30 headset with a tablet pc and a belkin dongle using the 1.4.2.8 drivers ( and all others I could find :s) I tried it on 4 other pc's incluiding a win2000 winxp, winxpsp1 and 2 and they all work but it just won't work on the tablet. it install's perfectly and bonds even connect's fine. I get that working in about 5 minutes only the actual transfer of sound is not done. The volume stay's grayed out in the system properties.

I'm trying to install this since thursday allready and tommorow is my deadline for the custumor. I'm desperate do anyone of you know wath to do ?

Thnx alot in advance

Franky

This sounds like a sound driver problem not Bluetooth. What is this Belkin dongle? Is it one of the first versions released? The first Belkin models did not work with headsets at all - even though the software supported it.

Is this a f8t001 v2 or v1? The f8t001 v1 is the one that doesn't work with headsets - depending on firmware version. Are you using this exactly same dongle on other computers?

The sticker say's v2 so it should work ...

I just tried it on a media center edition computer and it didn't work either. Tablet pc and media center are in essence the same os but install's differant depending on the hardware. This is verry strange. Does anybody know the differance between a normal winxp pro and mce or tablet edition
?

I'm nog going to try to dual boot the tablet with a normal win xp pro and instal it on there. Lets see ;)

Deadline coming closer and closer thow ... :(

I'd suggest you try another Bluetooth dongle.

Windows XP Tablet PC Edition is a superset of Windows XP Pro.
