I am still using the old Nokia 6600. I am also using a Fujitsu P5020 with a X-Micro BT dongle (as the stuppid laptop had no BT build in). I would like to use my Nokia as a GPRS modem to internet on my laptop. I can internet via GPRS on my phone so that's working allright.

I installed the Nokia software and installed de Nokia Modem. I can connect via mRouter and BT. But then when I test the modem I always get the answer "Modem failed to response". It seems like all the com port are OK (I have been following instruction from this site).

It almost seems to me that there is some kind of bug in or the Nokia Modem software for the mRouter or in the Nokia 6600 itself for finding the the GPRS modem. With other phones it al works fine (but via a usb cable).

You don't have to use mRouter or the modem drivers for this connection. Check this guide for instructions...
