Hi,

I have a 7610 and a Dell with built in BT (Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth)
I'm experiencing some problems with this :(
I would like to use remote control programs like PuppetMaster and Bemused on my phone to control my laptop
these programs work perfectly on my desktop pc but can't get them to work on my Dell
it's driving me mad!! :)
the drivers seem to be from toshiba and not widdcomm or MS (am kind of a n00b :) )
tried un- reinstalling but no luck
any help or tips are really welcome as the BT feature is no good to me if I can't use it with my phone..

the weird thing is that if I install Nokia PC Suite on the laptop and runt the connection manager it sees 2 BT things MS and Toshiba
when I click on the MS for properties I get a message telling me that I can't be used and that I have to check my soft- hardware.

I really hope someone can help me..
thanks a heap in advance,

In general is quite hard to recover from a mixed installation like this if the drivers can not be uninstalled. Install the correct Dell drivers, then check this thread for some instructions - but not guaranteed to work, since there are some other drivers that do not belong there (how did the Toshiba software get there in first place?)

Interesting - Dell was using the Widcomm drivers and I didn't know of any changes.

Fixed the link, try it again.

Hi,

I checked the thread before I posted but the problem is that I don't knwo where to get WIDCOMM BTW 1.4.2.10 and I can't unplug the BT device as it is internal
should you know any way to do it I would be happy to try (perhaps some bios setting or so..)
