not sure I'm in the right forum, but I'll give this a shot.

I'm looking to get a handheld or "PDA", I'll be mostly using it for e-mail and the web. The big thing I need is the ability to dial into a computer. My company currently only allows dial-up access, and doesn't allow any form of "VPN", is their a PDA or software or attatchment that would allow me to connect via dialing?

thanks for any help/info!

If your Pocket PC has Bluetooth and your mobile phone offers the DUN (Dial-Up Networking) profile then you can dial to any RAS server.

The problem is that most US operators have not released Bluetooth enabled phones, and the ones that are available do not have DUN (with a few exceptions). If you don't have access to a Bluetooth phone then look at Pokcet PC Phone Edition models: they come with buil-in phone functionality. Check our Pocket PC Performance Center for a list of these phones we have reviewed.
