So I've installed my bluetooth adapter for my laptop. No problems. The widcomm driver version installed with them is 3.0.1.914 in any case. I set my headset for discovery mode and sure enough it gets found. The headset will then come up in my bluetooth places, and I can even connect to it. HOWEVER, the headset beeps in 5 sec intervals as though it's not connected. Furthermore of course it doesnt work, sound can neither come through or go out the headset. I set the default audio and voice playback and microphone as bluetooth device and still it doesnt work. Any suggestions? I called kensington... lol. that was a joke.

Anyway I even hear the audible sound like a connection was made the low beep. However the headphones beep anyway and I cant get any audio out of it.

Welcome to Geekzone!

When you connect the headsets frrom your PC you should hear the Incoming Call ring on the headset. You have to then press the Accept Call button on the headset itself to complete the connection. Have you done that?

nah, so when I hear that audible noise I need to hit the accept call button to complete the connection to my comp? What a silly thing I wish I had pressed. I'll give that a shot when I get home from work. thanks much.
