hi guys i`m on the other side of the globe , and i was looking around the net for help and ended up here coz u lot look like ya no yer stuff

i have had my ipaq 2210 for a while now which is BT enabled and tonight i finally installed a BT dongle on my pc , i`m using the latest soleil software and drivers and all seems well , even connecting to the nokia phone software and transfering files is no probs , now bare in mind i`m still kinda new to all this

would it be a stupid question to ask if it is possible to see and access my pc desktop and all its functions with my pda via BT

i would realy like to be able to sit in my front room and just check my pda now and again or send and recieve emails with the pc but via my pda

does this make sense , i hope so , i have tried remote desktop but i cant fig out how to get the desktop side to use a BT Ip if thats posssible , it piks its own ip which u use on the pda , it works fine when syncd but take it off the mount and it dies , so is there a BT answer , and then if it were possible it would be even better to be able to watch telly on my pda being streamed somehow from my internal tv card , again i dont know if this is possible , and i`m sorry if thses are daft questions

Hello... You should try and establish a network connection between your iPAQ and your computer. The problem with Remote Desktop is that your link will be closed when you connect and login.

A free option worth checking, once you have the Bluetooth LAN connection sorted out, is logmein.com.
