i followed these instructions and still can't get the WIDCOMM driver working. I have the Bluetooth tray icon, but it's red, not white. Nothing happens when I try to open "My Bluetooth places" and when I right-click on the tray icon and select "Start using Bluetooth", I get the license error. If I double-click, I get an error stating "Bluetooth device not found. Please verify that your Bluetooth device is properly connected and turned on."

Welcome to Geekzone.

What instructions have you followed? Are you using the original software that came with the Bluetooth adapter?
