Hello,


Tha basics,
I do have a Linksys Routre GRT54GS I think
I have a PC libked by cabe works ok
I have a Laptop linked wireless works OK
I have a Wirelss camera Linksys works ok
I have a Hx2795 PPC Linked Wirelss Works OK

and Last but not least I have an H5555 whic works OK when connected to the cradle.

When I try to connect it wireles , it looks like connected (shows the connected staus) but I can not brows the Internet, it say that the IP adress is not vaild,
If I look in the Router settings I can see all equipments but not the h5555 ,,

I am using Channel 11
I do not know what to do..

i downloaded the Vx Util tried the Ping but could not get any answer, the IP adress wihich it shows me is : IP 192.168.55.101

but all my other IPadresses are like 200.208.42.100 to 150

please help...

Welcome to Geekzone. It doesn't lool like it is connected to the router. I suggest you check on the HP website for the latest updates for this model.

Also check that your router is configured for use with 802.11b as well as any other mode, since the iPAQ will only work on this mode. And check if your security selection (WEP, WPA) is compatible with this iPAQ model.

Another thing to check is MAC address filtering.

thanks for the tips.
how do I check this things?

an other thing is the ipaqwill as well not connect to an other router as i tried this out as well

Since the iPAQ is not connecting to another router, then I would first check that it's running all the latest updates. Check on HP.com in the Drivers section (just use the search box on the front page).

Other settings have to be checked on the router itself.

i did all the updates agian and finaly I found that tehre was an erro. whic updating again ,resolved my problem.
