AFAIK only Sony supports the BIP (Basic Imaging Profile) at this moment, with their Vaio (laptop) and Clie (Palm OS) devices.

I read that BIP will be present in more devices, mainly camera phones, from now on. AS this drives the demand, I think we'll probably see more Bluetooth products (dongles and PC cards) supporting this profile.

Also, nowhere in the Logitech site there's mention to BIP, but I thought I read somewhere they'll support it - don't take my word on this though.

Ok, official answer from Logitech (in this document):

"4.18 Why not support the BIP profile in the current Logitech products?
Since the BIP profile has not been officially released by the Bluetooth SIG, it is not part of Logitech products yet."

Belkin does support PAN and it's pretty much straight forward in using it. The only Belkin Bluetooth adapters that support PAN is the F8T003 with version v1.3 and Belkin just released new Bluetooth adapters F8T001v.2 and the F8T003 v.2 and it includes with version 1.4 now you can use a Bluetooth mouse and Keyboard and also supports PAN. If you have any of the older Belkin Bluetooth adapter and currently running with V.1.2 witch this version does not support PAN call Belkin and they will give you an updated version 1.3, only if you have these models F8T001 and the F8T003 v.1.

The BIP was officially adopted - just got the newsletter from the Bluetooth SIG. Now we'll see this profile in future versions of drivers and other software.
