Hey all,

I happen to have to put up with Lotus Notes in order to access my employer email from my home machine. I also use a TDK USB Bluetooth adapter, which was installed and happily working before I installed Lotus Notes.

Since I have installed Notes, every time I log into Windows XP, the bluetooth drivers prompt me (via a not particularly attractive commandline prompt) to enter the password to access my Notes ID. I am not really interested in being able to use Notes as a destination of the PIM Synchronization service, so is there anyway of turning this off? I have noticed that Lotus Notes does not appear anywhere in the Bluetooth Configuration wizards.

If I don't enter my password this causes the stack to stop loading!

I would rather not reinstall Notes or the Bluetooth adapter if at all possible!

Cheers,
Jim

The Bluetooth stack is probably looking for the PIM information for Exchange and Synchronisation. If you don't use these you can configure the Bluetooth for look for Outlook.

Or you can check the box "Don't prompt for a password from other notes
based programs" Under "File -- Security -- User Security" on your Lotus Notes.
