I have just purchased a Sony Ericsson (SE) HBH-65 for my SE T610 with the new hands free laws coming in, in the UK next week I wanted to legal. However the BT connection between headset and phone keeps dropping. I spoke with SE today and they could only suggest that I get the firmware upgarded in my phone, how likely does this sound?

I purchased the phone itself withina month of the UK release back in June or July time.

Thanks Jerry

Very likely to be the root cause of the problem. Just because the phone is new doesn't mean it has the latest firmware.

I have a P800 and had it updated early Nov 2003. Folks around here bought the P800 last week and the firmware was older than the one I had on my original mobile.

Yep, go for it.
