Hi,
Different internet service provideers provide net acess thru various means. Like dial up, adsl etc etc..


Can one provide net access to many people over a wide network say five miles using bluetooth ?

I have come acrsoss bluetooth adapters randing from 10 meters and 100 meters only are there any which go up to 5 miles and so on ?

Bluetooth is a Personal Area Network technology with low power. Personal Area meaning the spaced around a person - that is 10 meters, not 5 miles. Not even a higher powered technology like Wi-Fi goes beyond the 300 meters.
