Has anyone come across somebody using a Supertooth II and found them hard to hear (i.e being on the receiving end of the other person using one??) 

My wife is in a fairly small car with the supertooth directly above her and when she's using it I find it very hard to hear her.  And she is speaking quite loud as well.

Is there anyway of increasing the gain on the microphone
