Having trouble pairing the i-tech virtual keyboard to my htc harrier

I enter the device into the paired device section ok. Bluetooth Manager/Tools/Paired Devices/Add

Then when I open VKB program and click the "enable vkb" box the initiate pairing prompt comes up again.

When I try to enter a paascode on my pocket pc and select initiate pairing i get a prompt saying keyboard is not
available or passkey is incorrect before i get the chance to re-enter the code on the VKB

help please.
