Interested to know how good the coffee is and if we should have waited.

It tastes like Nespresso from a regular machine.

The thing that solds us ... I have to have decaf for medical reasons. We can easily take two types of coffee tramping, and just the right amount for the trip.

Also I once had a bag hole and spill ground coffee though my pack. Never again.

The cheap ones just show on the device, so you end up having to scan it and treat it like a single page whiteboard thing. USB on them is just to charge the erasing part. Friend was very disappointed with their purchase like that.

A Wahoo Kickr and Wahoo Climb for virtual cycling in Zwift, definitely getting plenty of use out of them.

The Kickr is a smart trainer that replaces your back wheel with its own gear cassette and a heavy flywheel controlled via Zwift to mimic the resistance of hill climbing etc. Very realistic.

The Climb replaces the front wheel and is able to lift and lower the frontend of the bike simulating gradient, its like a fairground ride in your basement.

I had a look at those, get one that has the 'partial erase' in it, they are about $14USD on aliexpress. They do sound like the erase doesnt work great though, reviews I saw say it seems to darken everything each time the button is pushed.

As Richms has said, they dont sync with anything, I got the boogie board sync for exactly that function...it doesnt have partial erase though.

I have now pre-ordered the gen 2 reMarkable as well, i plan on the the boogie board being my 'next to computer' device, and the reMarkable to be my out and about device. Will find out once they turn up : )

I've been looking at these for awhile. Both my partner and I mountain bike a lot. But as I travel for work I don't want my fun ride to be a training ride. Currently recovering from a broken hip (fell off said mountainbike and snapped my femur) so I wasn't a trainer to ease myself back into it.

I got an i7+ in August last year...probably one of the best purchases in the last few years. No more bartering with my partner to avoid vacuuming anymore, just open the app and either tell it to clean the whole house or pick individual rooms. The best feature though is that it can empty itself. If it's in the middle of cleaning and the bin fills up it will navigate back to its base, empty and then go right back to where it left off. If I didn't have the cat I could schedule it to run during times that I wouldn't normally be in the house and I wouldn't even have to open the app to kick it off.

Unfortunately, no robot vac has figured out how to identify cat sick to prevent painting it around the house. Not that the cat voms all that often, but murphy's law means that he will do it while I'm out and the Roomba is roaming.

Sharp. I'm pleased with Sony that they released a somewhat affordable (although still bl**dy pricey) G-series tele-zoom for APS-C. I also adore the Tammy. Some reviewers rate it lower than the Sony 16-55 but it was half the price and good enough for me.

Yep, back in October when it was released. I don't expect there'd be many used ones up for grabs. (Not yet anyway, and when I look at some of the prices that most people want for used glass on TM I'd rather spend a bit extra and get the peace of mind of buying new.)

Thought I had posted this already, but I guess not.

Best thing in the last year would be a terasic DE10 nano board to run mister FPGA on, it does an excelent job emulating what it does unlike retropie its never thrown errors about the SD card file system when doing updates, it has a board to add on to get a faithful copy of the RGB video output from the consoles/arcade boards that it is emulating which thru an easy to make VGA to scart cable looks supurb on an old CRT from the 90s, totally authentic rock solid pixel perfect 60Hz 240p video output. Use USB controllers on it and it feels exactly like the consoles its emulating. Unlike all those overpriced plastic trinket mini consoles that I have bought.
