Managed to score myself a LG G R this morning. Off Trademe. They got the cheap deal but for som,e reason they say it didnt suit his arm size?? He was too boney. Notice the new update came through this morning too. 5.0.2

I cant seem to get the navigation function to work- any tricks??

Same here. It says check phone and nothing on phone. If I start navigation from phone it works fine and sends directions to watch. Disappointed with the directions though. The pebble was very good at clear directions, how far to go, which exit to take etc. Wear wastes half the screen with a pretty picture. It could hold much more information.

From the googling I have done it seems to be a known issue - I havent seen a fix on the horizon yet

funny enough I was going for a walk after I had done this and I got a notification on watch about the route which showed up on screen. Related to the Google Now. However on pressing it nothing would happen

based on AQF-102WD-1BV and is a work in progress. The two inlaid dials are phone and watch battery levels. Blurred bit is location. ETA: Tapping 'CASIO' Starts/Stops the stopwatch, and tapping the stopwatch digits resets the stopwatch. Tapping the temperature updates weather/location data.

If Casio made official watch faces for Wear devices, I'd pay for them! (Same with Citizen watches!)

macuser: Made my first watch face, was annoyed that there was nothing for Casio that was reconfigured for round (side by side the one I sampled from) (the camera exposure messes the colour of the OLED display)

Thanks for that, purchased Facer just to have this watch face :-)

That is awesome! (and pretty much the same as my Casio)

Now I want an LG Gwatch R! :D

Just found out that the Tasker dev has got a beta version of AutoWear. Costs a couple of bucks but from what I have seen in the intro tutorial this could be a real game changer. You can integrate with Tasker + AutoVoice on your phone, plus design custom screens with buttons for feedback etc.

I have only been playing for 30 mins but I think this could be the business for automation + wear devices.

May be old news but I have figured out how to use the navigation "feature" on your LG G R watch.
Basically you have to open up google maps and work out your start and end then start navigation on your phone.
Then you get the turn by turn instructions on your watch.

a few days ago my LG GR watch froze and had a black screen.
Couldnt find a way to fix it. Google search not much help here.
In the end the battery ran out and as soon as I put it on the charger it started up again-phew
