I have just bought a RPi4 with the sole purpose to run Kodi,  as I have 3b running Kodi and I thought the 4 would be a bit quicker with the 4gb model but have been a disappointed the sound doesn't work.  I searched but can't seem to find an easy fix.

Has anybody else resolved this if not might have find another use for my new pi4 any suggestions?

For the Pi 4, there are 2 micro HDMI Ports. Make sure that you connect to the port closest to the USB-C Port to get HDMI Sound. Had a similar issue
