The thing I like about buying music online is that you can just purchase what songs you like rather than buy the entire CD.

On the other hand, you can't get the same deals buying music online that you can by buying them in a shop.

For example, 30 Seconds To Mars CD is $9.99 from The Warehouse, online it would cost about $22.

Are their any sites that do good specials for music?

Mp3.va.com looks great is it legit? How can they be so cheap! Do you use a credit card? Had no problems? I've been using iTunes for a while now and this would have saved heaps. Thanks for the tip.

I have used cc. Friend has too with no issues. They even have deals where you buy so much credit & they dbl it etc.. I have looked around for answers on the legit q. Mostly cause it conforms with Ukraine law ( I think but would welcome feedback) is how it can stay online. I'm sure that it would have not been round for years if not.

Six60 is even there. I wonder if they get paid for it.

Mp3va.com is NOT a legit download website. Just because you're paying for something doesn't mean you have the right to download it.

quick google suggests they use a law to get around paying artists any royalties, so the artist doesnt make any money from the sales.

personally i wouldnt use them because of that, i dont mind paying more when its 100% legit and the artist does get something, but i also wouldnt use itunes to buy an album when the warehouse sells it for 1/2 the cost (or less).

any legit websites that sell them cheap online but also completely legal where they wont get shut down?

A quick google of "Rightholders Federation for Collective Copyright Management of Works Used Interactively" should give you all the information you need. This is NOT a legal download website.

Probably not a good idea to be giving them your credit card details.

The artist deserves to get paid. So where do I get the best deal on a Six60 Album!

The number I gave them has actually expired now. It has been a while since I bought any music. Have more been streaming it lately.

It may be unethical but simply because it is illegal under otherjurisdictions does not make it illegal for everyone, if local laws of the host country allow such sites to operate, then I would imagine it is perfectly legal (at least if your a local).

Not that I would be keen on giving my CC details over!

iTunes seems to be about the cheapest legitimate option really with everything available. Not sure why you would bother with the NZ sites.

I have also used Digirama in the past. They were reasonably priced at the time
